It’s 3/25/2011 and countdown time as I write this – less than a week until proposals are due for the CultureWorks Grants Program. The deadline is Thursday, March 31, 2011.

We’ll be awarding grants to nonprofit arts/culture organizations as well as to individual practitioners of arts and culture. This is our second round of grants and we have a lot more money than we had the first round.

We give awards for capacity-building and for innovation – not innovation regarding the final product, but rather innovation regarding the process and the ways of reaching audiences. CultureWorks is incentivizing new ways of doing things and new ways of reaching audiences. Bring ‘em on!
