Five thousand was bid more than once at the Visual Arts Center’s Collectors Night Auction on 3/25/2011.

Nearly 250 of us were there dining and drinking and talking and enjoying the showcasing and selling of several dozen gorgeous artworks and gift items – the most dazzling of which were the focus of a live auction. One of the best things about this annual event is getting to see artworks that the public has never been showcased publicly together.

They included a delicious range of sensibilities: ranging from Diego Sanchez to Shelly Shepherd to Nancy Witt. And of course the money helps the Visual Arts Center continue its wonderful educational mission for the Richmond region.
