Media impressions are what you count to determine how well you’ve done in a marketing campaign. At the 7/26/2011 C3 Breakfast Club, I heard VMFA’s director of marketing Bob Tarren present a talk entitled, “The VMFA Looks Back at its Marketing of Picasso: What Worked? What Didn’t?”
A year ago I learned that every C3 Breakfast Club event is not only educational, but also stimulates creativity and innovation among us audience members. And now I’ve learned to say yes any time I get a chance to hear Bob Tarren talk about marketing. The Picasso marketing campaign generated 1.2B media impressions.
