On 9/1/2011 I was among a crowd of viewers at Josh George’s exhibition, “The Story Thus Far,” at Ghostprint Gallery.

The paintings are assigned to two groupings: “My Story” and “Their Story.” The technique and subject matter – which you’ll have to see for yourself - are strange indeed, and also gorgeous.

I’m a sucker for the application of real paint to create representation – especially when it compels me to look nose-close at the strokes and swirls and dabs and splotches. When you go, pick up one of the price lists; it’s different and worth saving.
