CultureWorks Microscopic Grants are determined by the CultureWorks administration on an ad hoc and spontaneous basis. Microscopic Grants ($25-$250) enable 501c3 organizations to take advantage of unexpected opportunities to strengthen their capacity.

For example, CultureWorks provided Microscopic Grants to pay the registration fees for nine arts and culture organizations to attend the 2009 workshop entitled, “Surviving the Economic Perfect Storm” – a learning session that provided information and action steps to equip nonprofit organizations to be sustainable during difficult financial circumstances.
