Last night I headed out to Cafe Diem in the upper fan to see one of the best kept secrets in Richmond, VA. The DJ Williams Projekt is a powerful soul, blues, jazz, rock, funk, etc combo that simply knows how to play some fantastic music.

They were tight, cool, and in control of the room all night. The sextet was able to use every instrument to its fullest potential. Apparently the band has been playing there every Tuesday for eight years now!

I can see why they have become such a long standing tradition at Cafe Diem.

A big thumbs up to this band for getting my toes tapping all night.
